Street 2 Tech inspires the Next Generation of Innovators

Science Ignite Africa brought its signature STEM experience to Magodo Residential Area, Lagos, engaging young minds with the latest in robotics, software development, and drone technology. The event aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, giving students an immersive experience in emerging technologies.

Over 30 participants attended, with 60% male and 40% female representation, all eager to explore hands-on learning beyond the classroom. Attendees were guided through interactive workshops where they built robots, experimented with software coding, and piloted drones under expert supervision. These sessions encouraged problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork, helping students see the real-world applications of science and technology.

One participant shared, “I never imagined I could program a robot in just one day! It was exciting to see my code come to life.” Moments like these highlight the transformative power of practical STEM education in inspiring curiosity and innovation.

The event also emphasized the importance of digital skills in today’s world, preparing students for future careers in technology and engineering.
